My Lord,

With reference to Your Lordship's

circular despatch of the 20th August, 1920, I have the honour to submit for the signification of His Majesty's pleasure the following Ordinance intituled:-

An Ordinance to modify certain provisions of the

Treaty of Peace Order, 1919, as amended by the Treaty of Peace (Amendment) Order, 1920, for the purpose of adapting the provisions of the Order to the circumstances of the Colony of Hongkong. Fo.15 of 1920.

The report of the Attorney General which explains the object of this Ordinance is enclosed.
